ITA Airways welcomed its tenth Airbus A220-100 to its fleet, with the aircraft registered EI-MVE, serial number 50080. The new addition, configured with 125 seats, was delivered November 30, routing from Montréal-Mirabel directly to Rome Fiumicino, operating under the flight number ‘ITY8021.’

The A220-100, the smallest jet in ITA Airways’ fleet, is designed with a flexible seating arrangement that can be adjusted between business and economy class based on passenger demand curve.

The aircraft features wide seats, larger windows, custom lighting, and spacious overhead bins, all designed by renowned Italian designer Walter De Silva. Additionally, it is equipped with a state-of-the-art IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) wireless streaming system, allowing passengers to enjoy a variety of entertainment options free of charge by connecting their personal devices to the on-board network.
